Crazy Obstacle Courses

I assigned groups for the students to work in. They collectively created obstacle courses, trying to include as many pieces of equipment as possible, remembering to vary the ability (as not everyone would be able to do exactly what was asked) and make the main goal fun.
Over the course of a week the planning was done and then the action began. The students learned a great deal about working in a group and trying in include lots of ideas, over coming challenges, mixing and narrowing a zillion ideas and lots of interrupting each other. Overall a blast was had by all and I was quite impressed with the students courses and ability to change the plan if a piece of equipment wasn't available.

Sorry! Try, try again!

Sorry to disappoint I have been trying, with little success, to upload pictures to our blog as a slideshow. Currently I can not get the slideshow (which is 40 pictures and very cute by the way) to "load" I have been loading and labelling pictures, creating slideshows for quite sometime now I am heading to relax for a bit then to bed (it's 10:40pm). As I tell Ella and Logan you have to keep trying, "try, try again" so I will try to learn something new tomorrow and figure out what is going on and how to successfully post pictures.
Sorry kids. I hope you have a great weekend. Your parents can check out what we are up to with regards to academics in the next month in the post below.
